Kids’ Church

For ages 8 and under, we provide the option of childcare and age-appropriate Christian education during service.

10:30 am – Worship begins; children join the congregation in the sanctuary.

11:15 am (ish) – After we sing, pass the peace, offer confession, and enjoy the moment for children, children are invited to go into the fellowship hall adjoining the sanctuary for a story, song, activity, and free play. (They are welcome to stay with their family in the sanctuary if they prefer.)

12:00 pm (ish) – Children return to the sanctuary for the final pieces of the worship service, including communion or other special elements.

We believe that kids are an important part of our community and seek to strike a balance between having them involved in “big church” while also receiving more age-appropriate Christian education.

YOUTH GROUP

2nd Sunday of each month from 5:00-7:00pm

Middle-and-high-school students are invited to join Pastor Tim, Janine, and our amazing youth group volunteers for food, fellowship, and fun.

Here is a rough schedule (always subject to changes depending on what fun activities we have planned for that month):

5:00 pm – Gather and eat dinner (usually provided by one of our youth’s family)

5:30 pm – Games or other activities (different activities every month!)

6:15 pm – Christian education (break up into groups based on age and discuss the topic for the month)

6:45 pm – Dessert

7:00 pm – Dismissal

All youth in middle school or high school are welcome, whether you attend services at Fourth or not!
