What is Soul Possibilities?

Soul Possibilities is a series of programs in music, theater, and the arts for children and adults of South Boston and surrounding areas.  Our goal is to provide arts education and experiences for anyone who desires them, regardless of financial concerns.

Mainstage Theater: Shrek

Dance Classes w/ Kathy Encarnacao – begin week of January 20

Zumbini – Mondays, 9:00-9:45 am | Ages 0-4 w/caregiver | $120

Created by Zumba and Baby First, Zumbini is an early childhood education program that uses original music and movement to promote cognitive, social, fine/gross motor skills and emotional development for children ages 0-4. This program also creates the ultimate bonding experience for families.

Zumbini For Schools – Thursdays, 3:15-4:00 pm | Ages 3-5 | $90

The very popular Zumbini program here at the church has been expanded to include pre-schoolers!! This is a drop off class that Ms Kathy has successfully used in daycares and preschools in the greater Boston area. Children will learn different rhythms from around the world. They will dance, sing, play instruments and have a blast!!

Toy Shop Ballet – Thursdays, 4:15-5:00 pm | Ages 5-6 | $90

A fun ballet class that uses stories, toy shop imagery and props to foster imagination and creativity. Students will learn basic ballet terminology and positions.

Tween Dance – Thursdays, 5:15-6:00 pm | Ages 7-10 | $90

An energetic contemporary dance class utilizing hip hop, Zumba moves and the coolest music ever!! Students will also have the opportunity to create their own dances!

Private Voice and Piano Lessons

Private half-hour voice lessons for beginners and advanced students.

Voice Lessons

Ages 5+ | $270 | Concludes with a recital.

Piano Lessons

Ages 6+ | $250 | Concludes with a recital.

Lessons begin week of January 20. Schedule you lesson slot with the instructor, Miss Irena.

Intergenerational Theater: Our Town

The classic play by Thornton Wilder, featuring performers from Fourth Presbyterian Church of all ages!

Performances: Saturday, March 1 (evening) and Sunday, March 2 (matinee)

How do I pay?

We accept cash, check, or credit card.  Payments can be made at the in-person registration or online (see below).  Please pay full tuition upon registering for courses. 

Financial Aid

We want to make music and art programming available to anyone and everyone.
